Spring Florals
Snatched up this wonderful floral printed sheer duster with my last Forever21+ purchase and I really love it! The pearl buttons are fantastic! You can style it so many ways, over jeans, over a body con dress, over a bralette and a mini skirt, the list is endless. I have to undo the top few buttons because my bust is very busty but it still looks great. Share your favorite spring looks in the comments!
My lipstick is Girl Crush by Sugarpill. Hair colors are La Riche Direction in Plum, Apple Green and Alpine Green. The blue is Adore in Aquamarine

Bruschetta Board!
Here in the Netherlands bruschetta is usually called toasts and very rarely is it actually like the traditional tomato based bruschetta you're thinking of, even if that's how it's listed on the menu, I've learned this the "hard" way, they're always still very delicious. Before I moved to the Netherlands in Arizona there is a restaurant called Postinos which I fell in love with because of their bruschetta board and it's absolute perfection in the balancing of flavors, so I decided to make a Bruschetta Board of my own as the bread, vegetables and meat here are absolutely fantastic!
Ok here we have 6 different kinds, I'm going to start from the left top corner, which is the one that kicked off this whole thing when I found the recipe!
Top Left the topping is Leeks, and blue cheese over a spread of Goat Cheese. The topping recipe can be found on Smitten Kitchen's site here: leek toasts with blue cheese
Second one is Roasted Red Paper with capers over cream cheese
Third is Truffle Salami over pesto
Fourth is traditional bruschetta with tomato, onions, and basil tossed in balsalmiv vinegar over a smear of roasted garlic
Second Row
First one is Serrano ham over Fig Jam and Mascarapone
Second one is Shaved Asparagus, almonds, and parmesan over cream cheese

Strawberry Lemon Vodka Crush
I made this one up but it was really delicious, I made it because I wanted to make Basil Simple Syrup, naturally I then needed a way to use it!
Start with a high ball glass, place sliced strawberries and sugar in the bottom, muddle slightly, squeeze in some lemon juice add a little basil simple syrup, 2 oz of vodka and 4 - 8oz of ginger beer. Garnish with Strawberry and Lemon!
To make basil simple syrup combine 1c sugar, 1c water and 6 basil leaves in a pot, bring to a boil. Boil until mixture is reduced by about half.

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
Received this wonderful mask as a sample with my Douglas order recently, it is an American company so don't fret you can get it there too. The mask was fantastic, it does get a little heated on your face so be prepared when you put it on for it to get a little hot. I do mine when I take a bath so that way my pores are already a little open. It really provides an amazing deep clean, your face will feel so clean and smooth after you use it! I highly recommend trying it out!

Ribboned Asparagus Salad
It's Spring!! That means asparagus is now in season, so I've been trying to use as much of it as I can! I've roasted it, I plan on smoking it, and in my search, I found this awesome recipe on Smitten Kitchen's website! I'll include the link and the directions!
Ribboned Asparagus Salad
The whole recipe is to taste so heres what I did"
1 bunch of Asparagus
1/4c Sliced Almonds
Parmesan Cheese
Lemon
To ribbon the asparagus take a vegetable peeler and slide it down the stalk of asparagus, there's no need to break of the ends like you usually would because the strips will be super thin. Place your ribbons on a platter, zest a lemon then squeeze the lemon (I like mine really lemony so I use a whole lemon) over it, add salt and pepper. Add nuts then with your handy dandy vegetable peeler shave some parmesan over the top! Eat immediately!
To toast the nuts (try not to burn them like I did) preheat an oven to 350F for about 7 minutes, stay nearby and shake them occasionally so they get roasted all over and don't burn.

Smurf O Tonic
Sooo I picked up a bottle of Blue Curacao and have been having fun with the blue drinks! This is a play on a Gin and Tonic!
To make this Smurfy delight fill a highball glass halfway with ice, add 2 oz of Gin (I used Koskue Rye gin from Kyro Distillery), 1oz of Blue Curacao, then filled with Schweppes Tonic, garnished with a Haribo Smurf and lime slice

Detox Waters!
I drink a lot of water but the blandness starts to make it overwhelming, so I started making Detox Waters, you can get really scientific with this or you can just experiment with flavors, I do the latter,
These waters pictures are a Cherry Lime, which is a pretty pretty pink! The one in the back is a Citrus one, it has grapefruit, lemon, lime and mint in it! I found these to be a bit concentrated so I would dilute them with additional water when I put it in the glass. You can use the fruits multiple times if you want, so it makes it fairly affordable. You can also sweeten them with simple syrup but I try to avoid adding extra sugar.
